In a world that moves too fast, Yutori invites you to step into a different rhythm—one of spaciousness, presence, and creative flow. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Yutori (余裕)—a sense of room to breathe and truly experience life—
this curated artists residency offers 10 uninterrupted days in a coherent contained environment, where the rhythm is lightly guided, and your creative process is fully self-directed.
This residency offers a held container rather than a fully programmed or highly facilitated retreat. We provide a grounding rhythm through a few shared anchor points in sacred presence and energy flow—such as medicine tea ceremonies, gentle eastern-inspired movement/somatic practices, and moments of collective silence or deep listening—while leaving ample space for you to follow your own creative cycles, rhythms, and impulses.
There is no pressure to produce, perform, or follow a strict schedule. Instead, through quietude, presence, and spaciousness, you rediscover the art, writing, or expression that longs to emerge from within.

Yutori (ゆとり) is a beautiful Japanese concept that refers to having a sense of spaciousness, breathing room, or ease in one's life. It’s about creating time and mental space, so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed, allowing you to approach activities with a calm, unhurried mindset.
Each Yutori residency is held by aligned artists, ritualists, musicians, and slow living advocates in our community (facilitators to be announced closer to the dates).
This is a residency for artists already engaged in a personal creative process.
Participants are expected to bring their own materials and tools for their practice (we will provide some basic shared supplies, such as simple art materials, tea ceremony elements, and space setup).

02 | Slow living, sacred music, & eastern somatic practices
Restore and uplift your nervous system with eastern practices, meditations, and the beauty of live music with our devotional singers and musicians.
04 | Medicine Tea Ceremonies & Cacao Rituals
Expand into deep presence, and allow your imagination to fly, with tea and (light) plant ceremonies guided with cacao and blue lotus allies or other white/black/green/herbal tea blends.
Accessible Location
Neos Center offers heart-expanding views, with 500 hectares of nature to explore, lakes to swim in, luxurious chill out & practice spaces, only a pleasant 75 min car journey from Lisbon International Airport.
Throughout 2025-2027 the space will continue to upgrade, to eventually offer a full spa and unique ceremonial dome.

This is not about money, and we want to be able to offer healing and transformation to people of all circumstances who genuinely want to expand and contribute positively to the world.
The prices on the booking platform therefore reflect a base level so that neos·life can continue to offer beauty and expansion to the world. It doesn't reflect the value of the experiences, nor the loving life force energy of the facilitators.
So we ask those who are able, to pay what feels good in their hearts as symbol of their appreciation for the experience and everything behind it.
